Cowboy Evening

Our 27th Cowboy Evening season starts June 16, 2018 and runs through Labor Day weekend. We begin the season with our Kick-off Special on June 16 and 19 – same great food and entertainment at a bargain price.

Enjoy the original and only Cowboy Evening of its kind hosted by the Lewis family and crew at the top of beautiful Bobcat Pass, 9820′ elevation. It is truly a western adventure you must experience – a must-do fun for the entire family event while visiting Red River!

Cowboy Evenings are offered on most Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday nights. The evening begins around 5:00 with activities to keep the crowd entertained outside, as well as inside the barn until the meal is served up at 6 pm. You’ll enjoy a choice of a 12-16 oz. mouth-watering marinated ribeye steak or grilled chicken breast along with our famous ranch biscuits, cooked fresh in dutch ovens right before your eyes! The meal comes with cowboy beans, corn on the cob, baked potato, coffee, tea, lemonade and our fabulous fresh baked cinnamon rolls for dessert.

Cowboy Evening Entertainment

We are proud to have Syd Masters & The Swing Riders return again this year as our featured entertainment. Syd is a singer and songwriter of traditional western music and tours nationally each year when away from Bobcat Pass. He was honored recently when one of his original compositions – “Under New Mexico Skies” – was chosen as the New Mexico State Cowboy Song! In 2012 in Fort Worth, Texas the Academy of Western Artists named him western music’s Male Vocalist of the Year. This season Syd has arranged for a special musical segment in the middle of each concert. “Bob Wills and his Western Swing” on Tuesdays, “The Cowboy Songs of Marty Robbins” on Thursdays, and “Western Movie & Television Classics” on Saturdays.

Talented singer songwriter and working cowboy Michael Smith will greet you on stage each night as either the opening act at 5:30 pm or as the featured entertainment after dinner. He may be accompanied by some talented Red River favorites.

Western hospitality and adventure are the theme at Cowboy Evenings and our many activity choices will give you an evening to remember forever!
